How to Create a Discount

This is a quick article on how to create and apply discounts to your job/proposal.

Discounts within WeEstimate can be handled a few different ways. 

1.) One way to incorporate a discount to a proposal would be to create a chargeable item labeled as "Discount." This can be done by going to the editors section under the tools tab. Once there, simply click on "New Item." At the window fill in the required information. This can always be changed and edited later.



2.) The second option would be to apply a discount using the GPM adjust tool on the equipment grid.



3.) The third and final option would be to use the discount ribbon. Using the ribbon you can enter a dollar amount or a percentage and the system will calculate it for you. However for this piece to show on the document, you'd need to have your document configured to enable it.
