Release 6.9 is ready for you!

The following highlights are included in this latest release.

  • WeOpportunity: Customer Name field has been added as an option for export to Excel.
  • QuoteAnywhere:
    • eOriginal integration is now available!
    • ‘GPM’ User Thresholds for materials, labor, & service items introduced
    • My Settings: set default Terms & Conditions template
  • WeEstimate: Automated Approvals Module – approvals via email! Please contact WeSuite Support to activate this feature.
  • Automated Approvals Module Changes:
  1. Standard System Type (for approval system) is no longer supported. 
    1. Clients will need to change all of their current approval systems over to Hierarchy
  2. The 'Process Exceptions First' checkbox must be selected if the pre-approval system has exceptions and no 'Standard Approval Groups'
    1. There is still a case where you may want to have process exceptions first even if your system has standard approval groups
  3. While setting up exceptions, if a pre-approval group has multiple rules that require approval by different groups, they must be separated by an 'End/Or' operator.
    1. If they are separated by an 'Or' or 'And', the system will throw an error when opening jobs



27514 - Global Schedule: 'Customer Name' Field Added: Added a new field in the Global Schedule 'Customer Name' as an option that you can select before exporting your data to an Excel sheet.

25511 - Lead Management: Include Deactivated Leads on Search Option: Added a new checkbox 'Include Deactivated Leads' where to search for Leads that have been deactivated assigned to the respective Group / Office.

Bug Fixes

32679 – FieldHub Accounting Integration: Known Issue – Sites from FieldHub are not displaying after search in WeOpportunity. Currently being worked on.

33221 - Global Calendar: Linking Customer to Newly Created Task Not Displaying Location Address Properly: After creating a new Task on the Global Calendar and linking to selected Customer, the Location drop down was empty instead of showing existing Site Addresses.

31929 - Lead Management: Create Lead: Accounting Contact: Resolved an issue where when creating leads using existing customers from an integrated accounting system, the company name was not showing in the Company field in WeOpportunity.

33243 – Sales Tools: Contacts: Contact Type not Saving – after adding new Contact and selecting Contact Type from dropdown list, Contact Type selected did not save.

WeSuite Go!

32418 – Lead Recipient Not Available for Passed Lead – Users in WeSuite Go! were not visible as “Pass Lead” recipients unless set to “Manage?” in WeOpportunity System Configuration. When “Pass Lead” is the only check box confirmed, User is able to Pass the Lead to another User without having to “Manage” the User.

33431 – Known Issue Being Worked On: Cannot Search for WeSuiteGo! Application On Google Play Store and Apple Store.

31080 – Known Issue Being Worked On: Leads updated in WeSuite Go! display UserID 54 in History in WeOpportunity instead of User who “updated” the Lead.

28950 – Configuration: My Settings: Default Terms & Conditions Template: Users may set a default ‘Terms and Conditions’ template in My Settings that will load automatically in QuoteAnywhere for new Quote Packages.

28771 - Document Screen: Quote Package Manager: Verification of Site & Billing Addresses: Revised the 'Mark as Sent' functionality on Quote Packages to prompt for assignment of missing Site and/or Billing Address prior to marking as sent via ‘Mark as Sent’, email from application, or use of integrated electronic signature service.

29764 – DocuSign Integration: System Configuration: Group Rights: Added (2) to Document Interface:

Allow Changing Contact Type: provides the ability to assign a different Contact Type in the document screen, than was initially configured for the document template, when Contact Type is set to “Custom”.  Allows for notification of and assignment of a missing Main Point of Contact.

Allow Add, Delete, & Reorder Recipients:  provides the ability to add, delete, and reorder recipients within the document screen for the document review/signing process.

29950 – DocuSign Integration: Document Screen: Send DocuSign Invite: Invalid Email Refinement: Added validation of ‘bad’ email address from the DocuSign Signing Portal. A list of invalid email addresses will show. Recipients will be able to sign on device; or, the signing status will be changed to “invalid email”, allowing the recipient to correct the email address, assigning the updated address to the envelope contact and contract; then allowing to resubmit with updated values to the envelope in process.

22180/28743 & 22182 – eOriginal Integration now available! Programming and use of eOriginal electronic signature services for contract documents is now available within QuoteAnywhere. Contact your Account Executive to request programming and document configuration.

29162 - Estimate Screen: Flat List Mode: selection of ‘Flat List’ presents all estimate items in itemized list form: Materials, Labor, Chargeable Items, Services on the Estimate screen versus the Folder view.

29180 - Estimate Screen: Part Level Labor Hour Edit / Deletion is Controlled at Bill of Materials: Part level labor hours are deleted/edited at the Bill of Materials grid only vs the labor tab. 

30932 – Job Quote Package Tile Display: The Job Quote Package tile has been redesigned to appear more uniform and concise throughout the job screens within QuoteAnywhere. The design indicates the Revision number first, Revision Name, Status of the Job, sales values, created date, and Sent date (after sent). A new button “Manage Revisions” reveals active and prior Quote Packages prepared and sent, for selection and synch to the workspace as needed.

28894 – Sales Status: Update ‘Won’ Date Prior to Saving Job Won Status: Selection of Stage to ‘Won Job’ will make the ‘Estimate Won Date’ field available for completion. Complete all other Estimate Information fields prior to saving Stage ‘Won Job’, as the 'Estimate Won Date' and Stage will no longer be editable after saving.

25884 - System Configuration: New User Thresholds (!): The following User Thresholds are introduced based on the User Configuration (in WeEstimate): Material Item Gross Profit Margin – validation occurs after adding part to estimate Folder. Labor Item: upper and lower values for additional hours and labor GPM (gross profit margin). Service Item: upper and lower values for RMR Item value.


33551 – Known Issue Being Worked On: Document Screen: "Show Equipment" check box unchecks after using "Custom" configuration.




30636/30324 – Automated Approval Module: Job Approval via Email! Introduced new feature: pre-sale and post-sale approval of estimates via email. The main features this functionality supports are:

- Summary report of the job sent with the initial approval email.

- Reject jobs: mark as not approved and provide comment.

- Approvers with ‘rights’ to approve in multiple ‘hierarchy’ Groups, may utilize ‘Approve for All My Groups’ with a single click.

- Approval summary email notifying user the process is completed

28685 - Estimate Screen: Taxable Pass-Through Items: for Pass Through items that are taxable, add the cost of the tax to the total cost/sell of the Pass-Through item. The ‘taxable’ check box for Pass-Through items is removed. 

29146 - Finance Lease Module: Estimate Screen: Lease Discount Tool Bar: Introduced the ‘Lease Discount’ tool bar to reflect the applied ‘Lease Discount’ dollar amount for a selected Lease Option from the RMR Grid. Right click in the ribbon to select the ‘Lease Discount’ tool bar to show.

Please Note: Accounting Integration: QuickBooks Integration is not supported in this release version.

31766 – Accounting Integration: Infor / ISM: Lead Management: Lead Number & Information Not Populating: Resolved an issue with the ISM integration where if you assigned a lead directly to a salesperson, the data filled in the ISM form was not populating in WeOpportunity.

31546 – Accounting Integration: Managely: Contacts Not Showing in Search Results: Resolved an issue where contact search did show contacts from Managely at the New Project and Customer screens. 

33409 - DocuSign Integration: Region/Office Level Configuration Caused Routing Error: fixed issue where misspelling of Region/Office caused configuration error.

33434 – DocuSign Integration: Void Status Prevented New Envelope to be Sent: when DocuSign is configured with setting days for expiration of envelopes and envelope signatures were not fully executed within the assigned number of days, the envelope automatically was flagged in DocuSign as “voided”. WeSuite corrected bug to allow for new envelope to be sent.

33488 – Customer Information Screen: Single Letter Domain Email Address Error: WeSuite Email domain address required more than one character (i.e. Corrected to enable one letter domain names.

33455 – Document Screen: Non-Owner Sends Proposal to Main Contact Does Not Send to Owner: User that is not the Job owner at Document Screen clicks “Send to Customer” resulted in email sending to the Main Point of Contact and the User sending instead of the Job Owner.

33435 – Document Screen: Saved Cover Letter Text Not Showing on Screen: after text added and saved at Cover Letter screen, move to another tab, and return to Cover Letter, text did not show on screen. If document was generated, saved text showed.

33415 – Estimate Screen: Chargeable Items Grid: Pass Through Item $0 Cost: fixed a divide by zero error which occurred when the first item added to Estimate is a Pass-Through Chargeable Item.

33158 – Estimate Screen: Copy Chargeable Item to Another Folder Resulted Pricing Error: Fixed issue where after adding a Chargeable Item to a Folder and updating the cost and sell price of the Chargeable Item, then copying to Folder 2, the CI in Folder 2 did not show cost and sell pricing and the CI in Folder 1 held an object reference error.

33414 – Estimate Screen: Labor Grid: GPM % Reverts to Original Value: fixed issue where the Labor GPM % column did not hold newly entered value for calculation.

27544 - Estimate Screen: Notification of Job Owner ‘In Engineering’ Status to 'In Progress': Resolved an issue where estimate owner was not receiving notification of ‘In Progress’ after status change from ‘In Engineering’.

32993 – Fixed Price Contract Module: Estimate Screen: Select Fixed Price Contract: Contract Rules Not Followed as Expected - Folders reset however, settings for the selected FPC were not showing properly, able to search and add from accounting database. Selection of FPC should follow rules set for the selected contract.

29922 – New Project Screen: Job Type / System Type Not Assigning Automatically to Recurring Revenue Items: When a Job Type and / or System Type is selected for the Estimate, added RMR Items should have the same Job Type and /or System Type automatically.

33416 – Tools: Part Import: New Part(s) Not Available After Search in Estimate: after importing an Excel and mapping data columns for import, new part(s) were added to the database however, not available when searched.

33291 – Tools: Part Import: Syntax Error When Importing Parts: part import from Excel file was failing after column mapping and ‘Import’ button was clicked.

33262 – Tools: Program Options: Send SMTP to Self: Fixed issue when the “Send to Self” Program Option was enabled, and at the Document Screen the “Send to Customer” button was utilized, the email was sent to both the Job Owner and the Main Point of Contact instead of the Job Owner only.

29620 – Universal Report Grid: Date Filter: Jobs Not Showing: resolved issue where jobs not showing for selected user during date range.
