How to build an Estimate in QuoteAnywhere - Basic

This guide walks you through adding basic items to an estimate. 

1. Select the desired estimate from the Recently modified list or create a new sales project.

2. Click "View Estimate" to expand the project details.

3. Click the folder to add packages, material, labor, charge items, services, test and inspect, and subcontractor items if applicable.

4. Name the folder, this will display on the proposal. 
WeSuite recommends naming folders by system, building, room, etc.

5. Within a category, you need to select the source of the item origin.

6. Search or scroll to find the package.

7. Click the package to open configuration details. Click add to add the package to the folder. 
Depending on your company's configuration you may be able to edit some fields from outright to lease, terms, etc.

8. Click "Materials" to browse components.  Select the item origin, then search or scroll to identify materials to add to the estimate.

9. Navigate to "One-Time" materials and click "New One-Time Part." This may be configured to disallow one-time parts. Check with your system administrator for this function.

10. Select the "Chargeable Items" category.

11. Search or scroll an item from the Chargeable Items list.

12. Click "Add" to include the selected item in the estimate.

13. Click "Services" to add recurring services to the estimate.

14. Search or scroll for the recurring service (item).

15. Click "Add" once the fields have been edited or verified.

16. Select the "Test and Inspect" category if applicable. Test & Inspect items may not be part of your system configuration. For questions, please verify with your system administrator.

17. Select a test and inspect item and click "Add".

18. The test and inspect item is added to Service.
