How to Import Leads in WeOpportunity From Excel

This is a quick guide to walk you through how to import leads in WeOpportunity.

To start, the below columns are required for the import to take place. Make sure your excel sheet at least has the following columns. The name in the brackets is the database value and the name to the left is how it's shown within WeOpportunity

Contact [Fname]

Contact [Lname]

Customer [name]

Location [address1]

Lead [oppname]

However, you can include as many fields as you like and map them accordingly. I will go into this later.

Once your excel sheet is complete, depending on the level of your information, it should look something similar to this -

The next step is to access the "Import Utility" within WeOpportunity and click the "Import Leads" radial button. Once that is selected, click the "Upload Excel File" to start the import process.

When your excel file is loaded, initially everything will be in red. This is perfectly normal. The next step would be to fill out the following fields -

Lead Source

Lead Origin

Market

Sale Type

You can do so by clicking on the drop down -

Once the fields are selected, the text will turn to black. This will mean that all of the information is correctly entered.

The last step would be to select a pass option. You can pass to a sales person, an office or a pass group.

If you are creating these leads for yourself, simply select the "Sale Person" pass option and select yourself from the drop down.

Once that is filled out, select the rows you'd like to import and click the "Import" button.

If successful, you will get a confirmation pop up that you can safely close out of!

Leads can be found under "Lead Management" under "My Opportunities" and by expanding "Lead"
