Exporting and Importing Excel Files in AWS AppStream for WeEstimate

This guide explains how to:

• Export (download) an Excel file from WeSuite via AWS AppStream to your computer

• Import (upload) an Excel file from your computer into WeSuite via AWS AppStream

Exporting an Excel File from AWS AppStream to Your Computer

Step 1 — Open My Files in AppStream

1. In the AWS AppStream toolbar, click My Files.

   

Step 2 — Select the File and Download

1. In Home Folder, locate your Excel file.

2. Check the box next to the file.

3. Click Actions → Download.

   

The file downloads to your local computer.

Step 3 — Access the Downloaded File on Your Computer

1. Open File Explorer on your computer.

2. Navigate to Downloads (or your chosen save location).

3. The Excel file is now available locally.

Importing (Uploading) an Excel File into AWS AppStream

Step 1 — Open My Files and Temporary Files

1. Click My Files in the AppStream toolbar

2. Open Temporary Files.

Step 2 — Upload the Excel File

1. Click Upload file(s).

2. Select your Excel file from your computer.

3. The file will appear in the Temporary Files list

   

Step 3 — Import the Excel File into WeSuite

1. In WeSuite, right-click the target location (ex: Estimate Items).

2. Select Import Excel File.

   

3. Browse to:

This PC → Temporary Files

4. Select your uploaded Excel file.

5. Click Open.
