Exporting and Importing Files in AWS AppStream for WeEstimate

This guide explains how to:

• Export (download) a file from WeSuite via AWS AppStream to a local computer

• Import (upload) a file from a local computer into WeSuite via AWS AppStream for Supporting Documents, Scope of Work, Cover Letter, Email or Terms & Conditions

Exporting an File from AWS AppStream to Your Computer

Step 1 — Open My Files in AppStream

1. In the AWS AppStream toolbar, click My Files.

   

Step 2 — Select the File and Download

1. In Home Folder, locate the file.

2. Check the box next to the file.

3. Click Actions → Download.

   

The file downloads to the local computer.

Step 3 — Access the Downloaded File on Your Computer

1. Open File Explorer on the computer.

2. Navigate to Downloads (or chosen save location).

3. The file is now available locally.

Importing (Uploading) an File into AWS AppStream

Step 1 — Open My Files and Temporary Files

1. Click My Files in the AppStream toolbar

2. Open Temporary Files.

Step 2 — Upload the File

1. Click Upload file(s).

2. Select the file from the local computer.

3. The file will appear in the Temporary Files list

   

Step 3 — Import the File into WeEstimate

1. In editor, click Insert a Document.

   

2. Select File.

3. Browse to:

This PC → Temporary Files

4. Select the file.

5. Click Open.
