Color configuration on Part Timing is configured in Program Options > Appearances > Part Timing

The part color reflects the date when the part was added or when the cost of the part changes. The cost can be changed manually or by clicking the ‘Get Latest Pricing’ button.

Scenarios below based on screenshots above.

When parts are added to a job:

WeEstimate V6.6 - parts will come over with the green color assigned to it

WeEstimate V6.7 and higher - parts will come over with the green color assigned to it

Once the part has been on your job for more than 30 days and less than 61 days

WeEstimate V6.6 - The part’s color will be blue

WeEstimate V6.7 and higher - The part’s color will be blue

Once the part has been on your job for more than 60 days

WeEstimate V6.6 - The part’s color will be red

WeEstimate V6.7 and higher - The part’s color will be red

How using get latest pricing affects part timing color:

If the cost of a part on the job is not the same as price of the part on part source chosen to update against:

WeEstimate V6.6 - Update latest pricing will update the part’s cost and the part’s update date to the values currently on the source

WeEstimate V6.7 and higher - Update latest pricing will update the part’s cost and the part’s update date to the values currently on the source

If the cost of a part on the job is the same as price of the part on the database (Accounting or WeSuite)

WeEstimate V6.6 - No change will occur to the part’s cost and therefore, the color will not change.

WeEstimate V6.7 and higher - Update latest pricing will get the updated date from the source. Therefore, the color of the part could change.
